Redefining the field: An attempt to undo epistemic injustice
Abstract (English)
Contemporary feminist ethnography engages with anti-racist, decolonial, queer/trans and intersectional perspectives. The renegotiation of the field is possible today through the tools of intersectional feminisms and the theoretical-political heritage of the Black tradition. Consequently, the research subjects, focus of research questions and critical reflection on the field are being redefined. Shifting to an ontological level brings a series of changes to the research and, by extension, to the production of knowledge itself. Through my ethnographic study in Athens, I will present reflections on queer, decolonial and feminist epistemologies underlying the contributions of these traditions in their attempt to respond to epistemic violence. Keywords (Ingles)
